Adsense now delivering ad supported videos from Google/Youtube

by Jon | October 9th, 2007

Google has started adding videos to their Adsense network by offering ad supported video clips from YouTube.

??????Google today announced the availability of video units, the first offering for content distribution on AdSense™. Video units enable AdSense publishers to display relevant, targeted video content within a customized, embedded player that’s ad-supported. Google is working with select YouTube content partners including TV Guide Broadband, Expert Village, Mondo Media, Extreme Elements, and Ford Models to supply the video content. The video units are user-initiated and will play only after a user has clicked to play the video.

The ads within the video unit are targeted based on a combination of the video content and the publisher’s site content. Advertisers are charged on a cost-per-click or cost-per-impression basis. Ads appear as a companion banner ad at the top of the video unit and as a text ad on the bottom portion of the video once the video begins playing. AdSense publishers and YouTube content partners will receive a share of the ad revenue.

It will be interesting to see how these video ads take hold and how many advertisers test out this new advertising media.

What do you think? Will ad supported videos take off like the original Adsense text ads did?

Revolution Money? New PayPal competition

by Jon | September 26th, 2007

Amazon shocked the world recently when it released its own payment processor (we’ll see if it’s got what it takes… not impressed so far)

Now the brains behind AOL has released his own “money exchange” to take on the likes of PayPal, Google, and Amazon.

I’ve never been a big supporter of AOL… in fact, I HATE the company. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if Revolution Money will have what it takes to make it in the online payment arena.

PayPal certainly needs someone to step up and compete with them. Unfortunately everyone that’s tried so far has failed miserably. Has anyone ever heard of an IPN?? PayPal seems to be the only company that can get this feature right.

The Adsense Guys Profitable SEO & Site Building Home Study Course AND Coaching

by Jon | July 19th, 2007

Pat just returned from speaking at Ross Goldberg’s seminar in Madison, Wisconsin and I have some very exciting news. This is a bit long winded but well worth the read.  Pat and I have been working behind the scenes on a new site building technique using 3 very important methods of SEO. We’re also proud to announce our Brand New at home course explaining the methods and how to use them to build extremely profitable websites that the search engines love.

The 3 methods are based on some recent patent applications filed by Google at the end of 2006 and some other changes being made to their search algorithm to make the search results more relevant. If you want to achieve good search engine rankings, you must change ASAP.

Our new course is a step by step system on exactly how we are implementing these techniques. I literally walk you through the process and show you exactly how and why our new method is working and putting websites on the front page of Google for our keywords and search phrases.

I revealed this new technique at the seminar and made a very special offer to the attendees after my presentation was over. You see, this is an actual physical product that is shipped to your home and something you can watch and read whenever you need to. I guess I was a little too overzealous because I brought too many of the courses with me to the seminar, so I have a couple left.

We have 5 copies of the course in hand and ready to ship to you (the rest are in production right now and will be available in 7-10 days, give or take a few. So, this means you have a chance to get a copy of our course in your hands in as little as 2-3 days. :)

Here’s the best part, I’m offering 3 months of personal coaching to go along with the course. I want you to be successful using the information from the course. The coaching will be 12 weeks, 1 hour per week on the phone (just you and I) and unlimited email questions. Here’s how the coaching will work. The first call, which isn’t part of the 12 weeks, will be the brainstorming call. I’ll go over your goals and objects and tailor a plan specifically for what you want to achieve.

The 1 on 1 coaching will only be available to the first 5 people.

We also have some good news to anyone that pre-orders the course. We’ll be doing some coaching for you as well but in a slightly different format. We’re going to do a Bi-weekly conference call based on questions and answers sent in by our coaching clients. There will also be unlimited email support for you.

This will be limited to 10 people only and after that the coaching will not be included with the course, until this session ends (12 weeks ). The course will be available but without coaching.

Take a Look at - Profitable SEO and Site Building

PS. Once we sellout the 5 courses in hand, you will be to pre-order the course to be shipped to you when they are ready.
